October is Reformation Month at FBC!

October 31 is the 500th anniversary of the start of the Protestant Reformation. The Reformation was a pivotal time in history when many of the most important biblical truths were recovered. Five of these truths are known as the Five "Solas." Sola means "alone." In the AM service we will talk about what these five truths mean and why they are so vital for our salvation and lives. The PM series will be about the dramatic life and legacy of the reformer Martin Luther, one of the most important people in history. Oct. 29 is movie night with the Luther Movie featuring Joseph Fiennes, 6-8pm. In addition, one of the adult Sunday School options will be a six-week Reformation Overview. Also related, the Men's Group is studying the book of Romans on Wednesday nights. Finally, since October 31 is also Halloween, we will again be hosting Trunk or Treat for families in the community from 6-8 pm!
